What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a hands-on, drug-free solution to assist in many musculoskeletal conditions which may cause pain. Although Chiropractors may use various techniques to help their patients they are qualified and skilled in applying specific and gentle mobilisations and spinal manipulation/adjustments.

All Chiropractors have to obtained a five year full-time internationally accredited degree. Many thousands of hours practice is needed to achieve the required level of proficiency in Chiropractic technique.

In some cases x-rays or other tests may be requested before treatment begins to give more accurate information on the condition being dealt with.

Who We Treat

Our patients range in age from the very young to the very elderly and the Chiropractic and Massage is open to people of all levels of physical fitness, ranging from professional athletes to the less active.

Whilst most of our patients consult us directly, we also accept patients referred from GPs, Specialists and Insurance Companies.

Your First Visit

On your first visit to the Clinic a detailed history of your problem will be taken. With your consent you will be given an examination relevant to your condition.

You will then be given a report of findings in which we will tell you in plain English with diagrams or joint models what your problem is and how we can help you. Treatments and recommendations will be tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Should your case require x-rays prior to the start of treatment these can be requested and processed nearby due to such wide accessibility of Radiologists in the City CBD area.

In most cases treatment will commence on your first visit.

If we cannot help you, we will advise you on the most appropriate course of alternative action.
